Making meaningful, lasting connections can make a big difference as new faculty build a sense of belonging at BYU. This can be especially challenging for female faculty, simply because there are fewer of us. In this session, experienced BYU faculty members - Leslee Thorne-Murphy (English), Julie Crockett (Mechanical Engineering), and Elysa Dishman (Law School) - will share candid reflections on their early years at BYU and what helped them find community and connection.
